Week 21 of the HGA Tour saw us return home to the rolling Turtle Hills for the Ace in the Hole Challenge and did we get down to business at the break of dawn with 32 players all feeling the need for SPEED….SWING SPEED! After the tough conditions last week, the weather was all about golf and let us swing hard all morning, breezy with sunshine to spare and the points showed just that. Please allow this email to serve as a reminder and brief overview of what to expect for our Women's Golf Day being hosted 1 week from tomorrow on Saturday, March 8th starting at 1PM. We currently have 12 Teams of 2 signed-up and are hoping to have a few more Teams sign-up before next week Saturday. We thank you all for expressing interest in participating and look forward to a fun-filled Saturday afternoon celebrating women through golf.
We plan to run a 9-hole shotgun starting at 1PM so kindly ask for everyone to show up at least 15-30 minutes beforehand in order to organize Check-Ins as well as groupings and pairings. Further, we are happy to offer 20% off all Ladies Apparel that afternoon to everyone participating.
The afternoon will include a 9-hole Captain's Choice event in Teams of 2, followed by a Closest to the Pin event on #10 with prizes, wine, and nibbles. We are going to set up modified Tee Markers on each hole from 50 yards and participants will be able to choose if they want to play from full tee-length or the 50 yard marker.
